  • Kerr seems to think McKinnie and Jerebko has some chemistry as he has been playing them together.
  • For all the fun speculation about Steph’s records, GSW has a funny team culture of encouraging some in-game records (like 37 in a quarter) but not streaks (in year 1 A.D. — After Durant — Steph gave up his games w a three streak, KD gave up his scoring 20+ streak)
  • I didn’t have the energy to track down all of the times GSW was pissed at Tyus Jones but here’s a relevant short twitter thread.
  • Absolutely understand why JB wants out, but this feels unprofessional and wrong. He signed a contract… play it out with decent effort! I don’t have a problem with a trade request, but IMO blackmailing your way out is bad…

Speaking of blackmailing your way out… Patrick McCaw’s attempt to strong-arm GSW into more money or a promise of a bigger role seems to have completely failed with the emergence of McKinnie. At this point, he’d certainly be below McKinnie in the depth chart, wouldn’t he? It’s rather sad, as I think GSW fans gave McCaw support well out of proportion to how well he played.
