The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in a nail-biter, 114-110.
The team was led by none other than LeBron James, but it was everyone else’s added performance that led to the win. Tyson Chandler also made his Lakers debut and was a huge presence, but we will get to that later.
Overall, the Lakers played great and gave us a glimpse of what they are capable of once again. As fans, however, we hope this is the last of glimpses and see some consistency soon.
For the Timberwolves, times could not be much worse. Jimmy Butler is toying with the organization, Karl Anthony-Towns is struggling with consistency, and they are now on a four-game losing streak. There was one bright spot for the Wolves last night’s loss though – Derrick Rose.
DERRICK ROSE IS BACK. The youngest MVP ever in the history of the NBA finished the night with 31 points and a hit career-high seven triples. Even though we definitely are not rooting for the Timberwolves, it is always a great sight to see D Rose play well.
Now, let’s delve deeper into the game and get to some player grades.
